School Has Ended....and Summer Begins!

Harly pitched her first softball game and did a really good job.

MacKenzie up to bat at her T-ball game.
Gotta lover her outfit! She's more about fashion than sports. Her leggings had to match her helmet.

MOTHER'S DAY RE-DO
When the first Mother's Day didn't go so well, Dayson and the kids made it better the following Sunday.
Everyone was ready for church 30 minutes early and Dayson and the kids made tacos for lunch.

Dayson and Clayton cooking the meat.

Carson and Harly helping with the dishes

If at first you don't succeed... try, try again!

This past weekend we went to Mesa for several different reasons. One of them was to go to the temple with Clayton and do baptisms. That was a really neat experience and a lot of fun. Clayton was very excited and had lots of questions about the temple.
Thanks to Dallin & Glenn for letting the boys wear their church clothes, because I forgot theirs at home on my bed.

Later that night was Grandma Lawlors 90th birthday party. What a great time to visit with all of the family that we haven't seen in a long time.
This isn't the greatest picture but the only one I had. MacKenzie is cut out on the right hand side.

Last... we visited our friends the Bezerra's before they move to Florida.
We are going to miss them very much.

Court of Honor
Clayton and Carson both received their 50 miler patch for canooing down the Colorado River.

Clayton was awarded the Principal's Award this year and got $25.00.
Good Job Clayton!

Mother's Day

My kids showered me with gifts, hugs, kisses and I love you's.
They really got into the spirit of Mother's Day and wanted it to be a perfect day. They could tell that I was a little upset and tried even harder. What great kids I have!

Friday was MacKenzie's kindergarten program and she did a wonderful job singing and dancing.
Afterwards the moms went to the classroom for a Mother's Day treat.

It's that time of year again.
Little League softball, baseball and t-ball.

Daycee up to bat.

Harly up to bat.
Clayton, Carson and MacKenzie all had their games but I was too busy taking score at the boys game to take pictures and I had to fill in and coach MacKenzie's first game because her coach was out of town. But there are always more games to come.

A few weeks ago was my birthday and Dayson and I both had to work. So the next day was Saturday and I wanted to take a drive to see how far we could get to Big Lake.

We turned off on a side road to let the kids shoot their guns and of course they had to climb on every dirt hill and throw rocks in the snow melted pond.

Harly made it to the top!

Skipping rocks

Adam love the ear muffs and wouldn't take them off.

This is Adam at one of Clayton's track meets. I gave him a sour gum and he didn't know what to do. He wouldn't move his mouth, it was so funny!

Harly's "ROCK STAR" Birthday Party!

Harly turned 10 years old on Monday April 19, 2010
She had her party on Saturday and had lots of friends over.
Harly wanted a "Rock Star" birthday party so we called up Aunt Rachelle to save the day... and she did.

Thanks to Aunt Amy who is very artistic, made Harly's beautiful cake.

Getting ready for the big party!

Give A Day....

... get a Disney day!
Our family finally completed our service project.
Our service was to help out at the Living Hope Women's Center in Show Low.
We were supposed to put together baby outfits for new moms, instead the boys built a sidewalk out of brick and the girls stuffed envelopes for their flyers.
There was another family from St. Johns who also helped.
We had a good time and can't wait to go to DISNEYLAND!

Here is Dayson, Clayton and Carson along with the other guys getting ready to lay the brick.

The boys finished product.
Pretty Good!

This was the funniest thing I have ever seen and couldn't stop laughing.
My sister Kelly has "face warp" on her phone and changed my kid's faces for me.
She also did mine, but NO ONE is seeing that!

Spring Time!

BOY SCOUT CANOE TROOP
During spring break the Boy Scouts went on a canoe trip down the Colorado River in Lake Havasu. Dayson also took Carson along for the ride. They had a really good time. Clayton was partners with Sully Udall and Dayson and Carson were partners.

This is Clayton and Sully paddling away.

TRACK MEETS

It's that time of year again for track meets in the wind.

Clayton did really good at his events.
He placed 1st in the High Jump at the Dome today.
This picture was taken earlier this week in St. John's were he placed 4th.

Here is Clayton rounding the corner in the relay race.
His team got second place.

(It's hard to see but he's in black & gold behind the line of runners.)

Clayton and his friends waiting for the results on some of the events.

We have been enjoying our new home and I can't wait to get some pictures taken for everyone to see. I just need a little more time to get things put where I want them.
