Thanksgiving was a lot of fun and I wished I had taken more pictures.
We went to Avondale and Dayson stayed home to work.
It was fun to spend time with my family that I haven't seen in a while and I can't wait to see the Merrill's at the Lawlor Christmas Party this weekend.

New Shoes!

Aarron got new shoes for his birthday from Grandpa & Grandma Wellman while visiting for Thanksgiving. Aarron with Grandma checking out the lights on his new shoes.


Aarron was so excited for his new shoes that he started to do a dance in nothing but his underwear, of course.

Band Concert

Harly joined the 4th grade band back in August. She plays the flute and last night was her very first concert. She did such a good job. The songs they played included: The RV fight song, The Star Wars Medley and Jingle Bells.

Aarrow Of Light

This was Carson's last pack meeting as a cub scout. He was awarded his Aarrow of Light.

The theme for the night was "Heroes" and many people were recognized.

Sis Dana is a Navajo Native American and always does a great job with the scouts. She did a warrior face paint ceremony on Carson and he thought it was the coolest thing.

Duties of a Deacon

Today Clayton gave his very first talk in Sacrament meeting. He was asked to speak on the "Duties of a Deacon". He wrote his talk all by himself and did such a good job. We couldn't even tell that he was nervous. He received several compliments afterwords on how well he did. Even the stake president came up to Dayson and I and said what a nice young man he is. We are very proud of Clayton and for the right choices he is making. He is a good example to his brothers and sisters and loves to fulfill his calling as a deacon. Clayton was also just called today to be the second counselor in his deacon's quorum. Clayton fulfills his calling as a deacon and is a good leader.

Saturday morning our family took a 5 minute drive to the high desert to have a little fun. It was freezing cold but you can't tell by the way the girls dressed. MacKenzie with her swimsuit, shorts and no shoes says it all. It was a fun time for everyone, a little shooting for the boys and a little dancing for the girls.

Capital Christmas Tree

Our Nation's Capital Christmas tree made it's very first appearance here in Eagar, Az. Harly was in the choir that performed for the audience that came to witness this special occasion.

The tree was brought in on a huge flatbed trailer.

Paper Airplanes

For Carson's birthday his Grandpa & Grandma Wellman gave him this book, "Paper Airplanes". It shows many different ways to make paper airplanes and of course Carson loves it. He's made almost everyone with the help of his brother Clayton and his dad. He is very proud of his work and is saving all of the planes he makes.
