Scouts!

After being in 11 year old scouts for 9 months and many cancelled camp outs, Carson finally got to go on his first overnight Scout Camp Out! He was so excited and gave me a list of all the snacks he wanted me to buy: doritos, cheez-its, double stuff oreos, chocolate dipped granola bars and of course his hobo dinner. He couldn't wait for this big day and even passed up the first high school football game in the dome and missed his soccer game on Saturday. He told me this was going to be the best weekend ever. I am so proud of him for wanting to be a boy scout. He is very talented and out going. He loves to accomplish his goals and takes pride in his work. Pretty soon he'll be 12 and on to the next stage of Young Mens.

Clayton also had scouts the same day but his was a 10 mile bike ride. What a great time of year to do this. They rode to the outskirts of town and all around. He also had a good time and loves to pass off his merit badges. He made it back in time to ride his bike to the dome and meet us for the big football game.

Scouting is such a great thing for boys. Glad for Carson that he could finally get an overnight in. Fun boys you have. :)
