Father's Day

Sunday morning Dayson was showered with presents from the kids. Some were homemade and some were purchased. MacKenzie got her dad a pack of gum and Harly bought him a watch. Daycee gave him some her keepsakes, like her photo album of when she was in the hospital with RSV. Carson and Clayton made him a cross-bow with an arrow...very creative! They also gave him a pocket knife and utility knife. The kids were very excited to give him his presents and made sure it was the perfect Father's Day.

This is our family visiting Grandpa Merrill just after he had surgery a while back.

We are very lucky to have such great dad's in our lives!
I love my dad and all he does for me and my family. I love that he loves my mom and wants only the best for her. I am very proud of him for surviving this long after raising seven daughters. We still give him a run for his money!

First Trek Family Reunion

My two baby boys hanging out in mom's room before all the kids come over.
All of our kids from the trek planned a family reunion on facebook, so Saturday night we had them over at our house for homemade pizzas, cheeseburgers and ice cream sundaes. We watched the video I made from the trek and had fun visiting. It's exactly what I needed because I was having withdrawls not being able to see my kids.

Alex, Kylie and Clayton

This is the first of many more reunions to come!

Happy Birthday MacKenzie!

June 10th, 2010

MacKenzie is 6 years old... she's growing up!

MacKenzie with her present from Grandma & Grandpa Wellman
Thanks for watching us Grandma while mom and dad went on the trek.

a present from Harly

MacKenzie with her new umbrella table. She was so excited to eat at it.
For MacKenzie's birthday I took her to lunch at Buzz's Diner, but forgot my camera. She also went to Sonic for a strawberry sundae when her daddy got home from work.
(dad forgot the camera that time)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACKENZIE!
We love you very much and are glad you are a part of our family. You are a little spit-fire, but are very loving. I love your hugs and kisses everyday, thanks for being a great little girl.

Eagar Stake Pioneer Trek

June 4th -7th 2010
This is one of the most amazing things Dayson and I have ever experienced.
There is no better way to experience and appreciate what our pioneer heritage went thru to establish the true Church of Jesus Christ here on this Earth. I will never forget the spirit that I felt those four days nor will I forget the bond that was created with the most wonderful kids in the world.
