My brother-in-law helped me to suprise my sister Kelly and her kids and my parents by driving to Idaho for Thanksgiving. It took us two days to drive there. We first stopped in Provo, stayed the night, then got up early the next morning and headed to Idaho. On our way we stopped at Wendy's in Burley, Idaho. This is where we left Aarron back in August when we stopped to eat. We had to take a picture and Aaaron got to say hi to the Manager who was so nice to him.
When we finally got to Kelly's, the kids and I hid on the side of her house. Konstantin went to the front door posing to be a representative from modelhomes.com. Kelly recognized him right away, but he tried to deny it. After she drilled him a few times about who he was, I ran around the corner of the house and up the porch to yell "surprise". Kelly came flipping out of the house screaming "NOOOO". We just started screaming and jumping around. It was so awesome. The kids followed right behind me and we all laughed about surprising them. My mom and dad were flying in from Phoenix that night and we were going to surprise them at the airport. We got there a little too late, becuase they were already waiting for us at the baggage claim. They were definitley surprsied but I wanted to jump out and scare them!
Thanksgiving morning the kids ate breakfast while we started cooking the lunch. There were 12 kids altogether.
Kelly with her amaizing turkey. This was her first time making one. It looks burnt, but that's just the bacon she covered it with. It was so juicy and tender!

After lunch the little kids put on a talent show for us. That seems to be tradition for our family.
Daycee, Kenzie, Aarron, Gunner and Deanna
When it was bath time we found all four of them in Kelly's big bathtub with their swimsuits on. They were having such a good time.
After their baths the girls lined up to do each others hair. This reminds me of when Kelly, Jamie and I would line up to brush hair or scratch backs when we were little girls.

All 12 kids with Grandma and Grandpa Wellman. There are 15 more grandkids back in Arizona.
On our way home we stayed in Moab, Utah. We stopped at the "Hole in the Rock" tourist place. The kids always love going there.
We found this sign for Konstantin. Germany is only 6,946 miles away.
This is called Wilson's Arch. The kids climbed to the top while I stayed back with Adam and took pictures.
There was also this really big rock that had a cave at the bottom. We've driven by it lots of times but never stopped. So this time I let the boys walk over to it and look inside the cave.
It wasn't even a cave after all. Just a little cut out. How deceiving!
We headed home for the longest drive in my life. I don't think I yelled so much at my kids than I did on this trip! I hope we haven't scarred Konsti for life!
