Harly's 12th Birthday!

Harly could hardly wait for this day to come. She has been asking me if she could wear makeup since she was five years old. Now that she's a young woman she gets to wear makeup! Sadly, Dayson is in Flagstaff all week and wasn't able to be here for her special day. So we made sure that he attended via Skype. Skype is the best thing ever invented! She opened up her presents in the morning before school with daddy watching thru the computer. 

Of course Dayson has to make the comment that she got a tackle box and couldn't wait to take it fishing with him. He doesn't know anything about caboodle's! I can still remember my first caboodle. It was pink with two rows of pull out compartments....they are the best for young girls!

Harly is going to Phoenix for the weekend with Student Council. She couldn't wait to pack her new clothes and new make-up, in her new duffle bag.

Singing "Happy Birthday" after getting home from her bishop's interview. She was so excited to get her temple recommend. The young women are going to do baptism's for the dead next Wednesday. Harly can't wait!

Happy Birthday Harly! You are such a sweet girl. Mom and Dad are so proud of your decision to go to the temple. You have been such a good help to me. You are always wanting to be a little "mommy" and I love that! 

Fishing with Dad

Dayson's schedule changed and he now has some weekdays off. So he took Aarron and Adam up to Big Lake to do some fishing. They met his cousin Troy and Delvern with their little boys at the lake too. The boys each caught one fish and had the time of their lives.

Easter

Saturday afternoon we decorated our Easter eggs for our family egg hunt. Everyone got to paint 2 eggs each.

We went up Water Canyon Rd to the picnic area and ate pizza.

We had a really fun time. The weather was beautiful and I didn't want to leave. The kids ran around and got so dirty that the bathtub was disgusting! 

Spring Break in Idaho

For spring break my five youngest kids and I drove to Idaho to see Kelly's family. My mom, sister Becky and her two kids along with Rita's youngest daughter Kate drove with us. When we got to Brigham City Utah my older niece Christie got in the car for the rest of the drive. We were jam packed with kids! Everyone did really good for how many people were in my 12 passenger van. We arrived to Kelly's on Sunday afternoon. Monday was a rainy day so we went to the mall for lunch and let the little kids play while the big girls shopped! Tuesday we went to the Hot Springs and let the kids swim. That is what these pictures are below. It is privately owned and the owners turned it into a public pool by reservation only. Way cool for the kids to swim on such a cold day! Afterwards we went to the park for a picnic.

We decided to drive home a day early so we left Wednesday morning.  These were our going away pictures.

On our way home we took Christie back to Logan. We stopped to see the temple and it was beautiful.

Our time together was not wasted. It went fast but we spent every waking moment with each other. My sisters, mom, Christie, and Darin went to get pedicures on our last night together. We also went shopping at  Target and went to a frozen yogurt bar. Every night we would stay up past midnight just talking and laughing. Mostly laughing. I miss those kind of moments with my sister. She is my best friend and I miss her so much! At least we have Skype!!
