Surprise!

Thursday afternoon I packed up my three little kids and we drove to Mesa to our hubby and daddy. We were waiting at Gary & Sharlene's when Dayson came home to find us there. The kids yelled, "surprise" and dad was brought to tears. We went to the new Matta's grill than went back home and went to bed. Dayson had to get up early to back to the academy and I went to Sam's club with Sharlene than headed home. Our dad is now back home with our family for this short weekend and we are excited to have him here with us.

2 WEEKS DOWN & 16 TO GO!

Dayson had a 3 day weekend, which was great for all of us. We took the kids to the park and spent time at home. Like always, it's very hard for Dad to leave. He gets choked up when the kids kiss him goodbye. He hates to leave but it will be worth it in the end. We are very proud of our dad and husband. We love him very much and can't wait to see him again on Friday.

Happy 6th Birtday Daycee Dawn

Daycee Dawn is 6 years old today. She had a very fun birthday. Grandma Merrill got her a beautiful princess dress that she wore to church today. After church we had a little party with her Udall cousins. Daycee got a barbie, two outfits, a dress with silver church shoes and a pink lap top. She is a very special daughter and we love her very much.

Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Daddy's coming home tonight!

We are so excited to see Dayson tonight. I'm doing my best at keeping the house clean. The kids can't wait to see their dad. We call dad every night to have family prayer with him, but it's just not the same. This weekend is Daycee's birthday and a holiday. Dad will get to spend the whole weekend with us. He won't have to go back to Phoenix until Monday. Thank you MLK.

ONE WEEK DOWN AND 17 TO GO!

Dayson's first week at the academy was rough. But he survived. We did too. He came home Friday to spend the weekend with us. It was good to have him home. We spent all day Saturday studying for his big test on Monday and writing essays. We went to church on Sunday, came home for lunch and Dayson left again. I know how hard it is to leave but he is doing a great thing for our family. We are very proud of him and cheer him on everyday.

School is back in session, Dayson has started the academy and I'm officially a "Single Mom"!

We are counting down to the day Dayson graduates from the academy which is May 8th, 2009. Until than we will be keeping ourselves busy with school, basketball, ski club, scouts, activity days and whatever else seven kids bring. Right now I'm just taking it one day at a time.
