Pre-school time!

Wednesday, August 19th was Aarron's first day of Head Start.

He was very excited to start his new school until I told him he couldn't take his toys with him.

He wasn't to thrilled about that.

His cousin Jagger is also in his class and Jersy is in the other afternoon class.

I'm am so glad that Aarron's has two of his cousins that he can go to school with all the way until high school.

Heh!

Aarron is such a fun boy to have at home. He is full of life and with Adam by his side, they are Clayton and Carson all over again. Especially at church. Adam throws everything at people in front of us and behind us. Aarron wants to play with his toys in a non-whisper voice. I just about had a nervous breakdown on Sunday with those two boys. Daycee and MacKenzie weren't any better. I had to threaten them that I was going to take them home and leave them by themselves if they weren't good. Daycee said okay! MacKenzie was in tears and begging me not to. At least it worked on one of them.

Family Pictures

Friday, August 14th, Dayson's family arranged for a group family picture to be taken. All of the siblings were in attendance including DeLona from Oregon. It was a very hot day but the kids were so good.

MacKenzie didn't know I was taking her picture. She was sitting on the ledge and was concentrating on how she would get down.
Aarron was off playing with his cousin Brodee or playing in the water.

So, I didn't get a picture of him by himself.



Adam with his buzz cut was feeling very big and didn't want anyone to move him from his spot.

Everyone stood their so still for the picture, even Adam. He wanted to stay there after the picture was taken.


Even though it was a hot day, I'm glad we made the trip down to be with our family.

After the pictures were taken we rushed to the temple to be with Aaron and Rachelle who were sealed that night.

5 Down & 2 To Go...

....but who's counting?

The first day of school is almost as much fun as Christmas.

New clothes, new school supplies, new backpacks and butterflies the night before.

MacKenzie was so excited for her first day of kindergarten.

She went straight to the playground holding hands with Addie Mindar and never looked back.

Daycee and I followed the blue line to the first grade playground and as we rounded the corner she gave me a hug, said "I love you" and dashed off to find her friends.

That's a big difference from last year when I had to line up with her and wait for her teacher to come out and pick her up for the first few weeks.

Harly never hesitated on the first day of school. She was confident and in a hurry to meet up with her friends. (She did her own hair for school.) I'm very proud of the nice young lady she is becoming. She's definately into fashion way more than I ever was.


Carson was a little worn out and sore from the night before, football practice. It was the first day of hitting drills and he layed everyone out. I think Carson was a little nervous for his first day of school. His homeroom teacher Mrs. Speicher has the reputation of being the "mean" teacher. She is a good teacher and little rough on the edges. Carson had a good day but was mostly concerned about football practice again. (the hitting drills can be a little scary)

Clayton was ready to be back in the swing of things. He was the first one up and ready for school fast. He gets dropped off first and every day last year we would exchange "I love you's". Not this year, he was out of the car with a bye and never looked back. I guess 7th graders are too cool for mom and dad. Clayton is also playing football and is one of the best defensive tacklers. It's propably from all the practice at home with his brother. I knew that energy would pay off one day.

Starting next week, Aarron goes to preschool Mon-Thurs from 12:15 - 3:45. What will I ever do with myself? Life is good! Maybe Adam will learn how to walk now that nobody is home to bother him.

Summer Vacation at it's FINEST!

As summer vacation comes to an end, we reflect on what passed by so quickly.

Round Valley Auto Glass

Dayson and I have decided to change the name our auto glass business. It is now called Round Valley Auto Glass. I have started a blog for our company. EAGAR DAZE!!

Saturday August 1st was our town Eagar Daze.

There are many different events going on and the kids signed up for

the Foot Rodeo.
The events included: stick horse race, goat ribbon pull, balloon popping,

boot race, the calf chase and many more.

All of our kids signed up except for Adam of course.

But when it came time to participate MacKenzie was the only one who didn't want anything to do with it.

When it was Aarron's turn he ran down yanked on the goats tail than sprinted back for the finish line. He is such a cutie and was so proud of himself. He thought he won every race.


Carson and Clayton both participated in the

team wheel barrow pushing contest.

Clayton and his friend Cordell came in first in their heat.

They won $5 and a ribbon.

I have all of the races on video but have no idea how to put them on my blog.

We had such a good time and when it was all said and done I was ready for a nap.

I didn't get very many pictures of the older kids because it was to hot to be in the arena the whole time.
