Snow Is Falling All Around

Here is a video of the snow fall this morning. This is right out our front door. I was hoping that it would be a snow day or at least a two hour delay, but nothing. The kids had to go to school in the snow.

That was fast!

This is what we woke up to this morning.
Fall lasted about 3 weeks and winter is pushing it's way through.
The wind blew so hard yesterday that it picked up the play house and it landed in front of my window.
What a stupid day yesterday was!

We also woke up to Dayson, Clayton and Carson finally home from their hunt.
Carson was the only one succesful and shot a spike.

Clayton was sick the whole trip and running a fever, but "hunt hard or go home!"
We know what they chose. Even Dayson survived after having surgery just a week before his hunt.

By the way, I don't want to see anymore pictures of you people with shorts and flip flops on. I will have to cry!

Pumpkin Patch

Last week MacKenzie's school class went to Snowflake for the pumpkin patch.
Her and Aarron both picked out a pumpkin to take home.
Dayson and I went along for the fun.

MacKenzie's class: she is on the bottom row second to the left.

We recently got a little kitty and at first Adam was afraid of it.

Now the kitty is afraid of him.
He calls it baby and likes to throw it.

Daycee's class field trip

Daycee had a class field trip to Greer. They went on a nature hike and the weather was gorgeous. I haven't been able to go on any field trips since Dayson started working for Apache County. But Dayson had Monday off, so I was able to go.
(Thanks to Aunt DeLona for the warm orange jacket.)

MacKenzie's Special Night with Mom & Dad!

Dayson and I are taking each child out on their own special date.
MacKenzie went to McDonald's and got a hot fudge sundae. She was really excited to be all by herself.

Of course she was already for bed!

Harly's Got Talent!

Harly and her friend Cami signed up for the Round Valley talent show. Their talent: cart wheel, round off and back bend. I was very proud of the girls for being so brave and doing their stunts on stage. On their first try both girls messed up and so they attempted it again and did it perfect. Way to go girls!

Harly & Cammie waiting for them to announce the winners.
They did not win but were quick to let us know that they did better than the other kids who did win.

Clayton and Carson were so kind to stay home and babysit the boys so we could enjoy ourselves.
