Memorial Day

The kids and I made a trip to Show Low for Memorial Day. My grandparents have a home in a retirement trailer park down the street from Wal-Mart, so we went to clean up the winter wrath before they made their trip up for the summer. Raking pine needles and sweeping the porch off is all we needed to do. One of the younger neighbors had started on the pine needles so we didn't have as much work as we anticipated.

After cleaning we walked down to the pond and thru some rocks, took a picture and then off to Wal-Mart for dad's birthday shopping.

After Wal-Mart we went to the movies to watch Kung Fu Panda 2. I don't take the kids that often because it's so expensive. It cost us $48 just for tickets and that was the matinee price. But it was worth it. We had such a good time. I just wish Dayson was there with us, but he was working overtime to earn extra money for our family vacation in August.

That's So Random!

Just a few random things that have happened lately.

Adam had his very first dentist appointment. I don't think I ever took pictures of my kids at their first appointment but since it's my baby, I couln't help it!
He did such a good job at being still.

After he was done he got to pick out a prize

"Show me your prize"

"Show me your teeth"!

Dad took the kids fishing one Saturday morning. I can't even tell you when this was, I just found the pictures on my camera.

Adam scared of this fish, like always!

My Favorite Time of Year....

BASEBALL!!!

We have six kids on five different teams this year. Clayton is on the juniors, Carson is majors, Harly is minors, Daycee & MacKenzie are coach pitch and Aarron is T-ball. Adam can't wait until its is his turn to play. He tells Dayson and I everyday that his coach called and his game is starting.

I have many more games to take pictures at!

Aarron and Adam playing baseball in the backyard with their cousin Nash. Aarron is batting, Adam was catching and Nash is the pitcher. I couln't get set up fast enough to get Nash in the picture and than Adam got hit by the bat so that was it for playing baseball.

End of the Year Activities!

Harly's group of friends performing their skit in front of the 5th grade. It was really cute and Harly did a good job on her part. Harly also ran for student council secretary and won!

Aarron graduated from Head Start pre-school and will go to kindergarten in August.

This is his class and teachers.

They performed a dinosaur song on stage.

Newest Addition to the Wellman Family

My little sister Jamie had her 2nd baby boy on April 28th. All of my sisters were there to celebrate this special occasion. Ryder Slade Robinson is the 26th grandchild to my mom and dad.

My Grandpa Wellman and Grandma Dorris came over to see the new baby. My grandpa is definitely starting to show his age of 88 by needing to walk with a cane. But he still is able to drive and be a teaser. Same old grandpa just a little more fragile!

Flagstaff Vacation

We had no school on Good Friday because we didn't have a snow day this year. So our family took advantage of the three day weekend and went to Flagstaff for my birthday. The hotel we stayed at served a continental dinner and breakfast. They also had free popcorn and soda in the evening. Our kids were in heaven and didn't want to leave. There was an indoor pool that we went to many times.

Me and the kids are goofing around while waiting for the boys to meet up with us. We are off to the mall and Target. (Two places I miss very much!)

We stopped to visit the train station and we got to see two big trains fly thru town.

I had a really fun weekend and had the best birthday ever.

Dayson took me to the mall twice, Target twice, payless and Olive Garden for dinner. I really was spoiled the whole weekend. I love my family very much and thanks for all of the the text messages and facebook comments. I didn't know I was so popular!!
