After Carson's football game we went to Amy & Troy's for Halloween.
Amy had planned a great party for the kids.
There was a cake walk, fishing pond, bingo, trick or treating and a costume contest.
And don't forget the yummy chili and all of the delicious desserts. Thank you Amy for having us to your party.
This year I told the kids to pick out their own costume from the costume box. Clayton was 1/3 superman, 1/3 batman and 1/3 pirate. He won the funniest costume for the big kids.
Carson was a zombie football player and didn't even have to change after his game. Harly was a wizard and Daycee was a witch. It took MacKenzie a long time to decide what she wanted to be and finally picked the bunny rabbit costume. Aarron had come home from school one day and said he wanted to be a "pumpkin head". Whatever that is. So, I went shopping for an orange beanie and an orange shirt, drew a pumpkin face on it and called it good. It is so easy to please an almost 4 year old boy. Adam was going to be Diego, but we couldn't find anything, so I bought this shirt that said "monster" with a monster on it and we called him a monster. Aren't we so creative?

Here is the whole gang (kids that is) waiting for the results of the costume contest.

What a nice, relaxing halloween it was this year. It was good that we didn't have to go outside in the cold since three of my kids were sick with the flu earlier that week.
Everyone had a great time and got plenty of candy.
